THE LIBRARY IN ALEXANDRIA WELCOMES THE BOSNIAN PIRAMIDS PDF Print E-mail

The modern Alexandrian library in Egypt (Bibliotheca Alexandrina) is one of the oldest and most known libraries in the human history. Professor/ Dr. Mostafa El-Abbadi, is the archaeologist and a historian, and one of the leading experts on the ancient civilizations who left their traces on the Egyptian ground. The Founder of the Archaeological Park: Bosnian Pyramid Foundation, Mr. Semir Osmanagic gave a lecture and presentation promoted by Dr. Abbadi, an historian and archaeologist.

In this occasion Mr. Osmanagic had the honor to be represented in the intellectual center of the Ancient World as the only lecturer from the Former Yugoslavia-in a library known to mostly host noble prize winners and international leaders.

One of the directors of this notable library, Mona Hagag (the professor of archaeology at Alexandrian University) was also one Mr. Osmanagic's hosts.

During his lecture,  Osmanagić indicated that the 21st century represents the era of the pyramids  as 250 new pyramids have been discovered in China, 300 pyramids in Peru, and thousands of stone structures in Central America  as well as dozens in Bolivia, the Canary Islands and European countries. The discovery of the largest pyramids in the world-in Bosnia-calls for reconsideration of some significant definitions of the pyramids.

Osmanagić also pointed out that the Foundation's research project in Visoko's Valley of the Pyramids has brought to the attention of many young people throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina archaeology and history, and the fact that the world has an opportunity now to hear the good news about Bosnia and Herzegovina rather than to hear only of the war and violence.

After the lecture, professor Abbadi stressed the importance of this presentation in the informative realms, requiring the involvement of the scientific community in order to solve the mystery of the Bosnian pyramids.

Profesor Hagag stated how she was honored by this lecture, pointing out that Osmanagic's visit had left a great impression on all visitors and thus inviting him to regularly instruct and inform the archaeological community in this part of the world. .

Dr. Nabil Mohamed Abdul Swelim, discoverer of four pyramids in Egypt and the author of many encyclopedia works, also attended this event. He agreed with Mr. Osmanagic that the world's pyramidal structures should be redefined (Egyptian, Chinese, Mexican Peruvian, Bosnian and other pyramids) with regard to all their variations in design (true, stepped, bent, truncated, etc). He talked about his visit to the Bosnian Valley of the Pyramids and his scientific report, where he wrote that the pyramidal structures are the result of humans intervening with nature.

Mr. Osmanagić had arranged cooperation between the Archaeological Park: Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun Foundation and the notable Alexandrian Archeological Society, which was founded in 1893. Professors Abbadi, Hagag and Dr. Swelim are the leading members of this institution.
